Sweet goal from Heinrich. Ganahl's was great too.

3-1 lead for Hungary... missed a 2 on 0 and had a clear cut 2 on 1 in OT.

well, Austria is going to stay up, which is for the best because they're a bit more competitive. Fairly hallow because they're being artificially pushed up two spots right now, but they'll take it.

Every year same circus.
1. The dear coach calls up 1/3 of active Austrian players for various preparation tournaments
2. List then boils down to basically 90% of the same players every year
3. Top players that are in their prime (Hofer, Komarek, ...) are "retired", but who knows what soap opera happens behind the scenes
4. Play during the tournament is very frustrating
5. At the end Dominique Heinrich scores a goal to avoid relegation after being like -10 on the tournament

Sounds about right. Had to laugh @5. So true
It's a shame Kasper (injured), Hofer, Komarek would probably be at the very least a very strong 2nd line for Austria.
1 positive thing i noticed is that Austria at least didnt take 2 too many men on ice penalties each game like in past tournaments haha
