that's assuming last year was just an off year and not a sign that he's just about washed
He's probably washed in terms of being an RB1 getting 15-20 touches a game, but he'll be the ideal third down back, especially for a rookie QB

Plus, I typically only focus on the big contracts like Cousins, C. Jones, etc. to see what is left when you can move off a player.
Cause I get surprised when people say, that X player has this large a dead cap charge. Well, if you structure the deal to be more bonus based (and you can convert base salary into a bonus each year if you want), means that you have a bunch of money that you paid the player that hasn't hit the cap and will have to take it even when the player is no longer on the team.

For a HS RB, if you have the talent to switch positions, move to Slot WR or DB/S even. If you can't, well then you have no choice but to play RB.
