Yes, because an ATD with more activity among the participants is a healthy ATD.
That's my position, in a nutshell.
I have voted against trades in the past because I wish this to be less of a 'game' and more of a reflection on great players relative to others from other eras, but when I find myself wanting to profile info on a guy who'll likely be available a half round or more later than when I'm slotted, I think I'd like to trade down (I rarely trade up).
But, all things considered, I can't see what's wrong with letting GMs trade up or down to get a guy they APPRECIATE. After all, this is supposed to be a draft about all-time greats in hockey history. If you think your guy is undervalued and wanna trade up to get him, then why not?
