ATD 2017 Vote 3 - Probability in Playoffs

This one is likely going to be unpopular, but in the following post HockeyOutsider suggested adding some odds to the playoff matchups since some more vocal members were clamoring for upsets like in the real world.

I am strongly opposed to adding probability in determining playoff series winners. Here is what I posted in the sign-up thread:

It takes a lot of hard work and some luck to put together a real top contending team, if I happen to do it, I don't want to lose because of random chance. If I lose I want it to be because someone put together a better team than I did and also put in the time to demonstrate to the voters why that team was better...who knows when the next draft will be when "it all comes together" for me and I have another top contending team.

Conceptually, it's a neat idea, but it's not worth deciding the main ATD this way. If we want to screw around with it in the MLD, that's fine.
