Pittsburgh Trumps!

We're illegals (or undocumented players for the politically correct). Subsidized ATD benefits like extra trades and free picks are the norm here!

Recchi (half wall, pass first)
Clapper (trigger, RH big shot) -
Karlsson (QB, RH pass first)
Unit should be elite. Ovechkin is in his normal left circle area ready for one timers, which he's made a living off of in real life. Messier is a big body, elite physical presence that can own the slot and net and create havoc in front of goalies. Recchi, on the right half wall is in perfect position to QB down low with his play making ability, either to Messier or back out top to Karlsson, or occasionally cross ice if the 2x2 widens. Karlsson's power play assist totals and time on ice are elite in the NHL today. His vision and passing ability are second to none and with a RH shot he's in position to pass anywhere on the ice. Lastly Clapper owned an elite shot as described by overpass just below here. Do you shade forwards to Ovechkin, lower, or out top to Clapper who owned a massive and electric shot?

And Clapper was "amazingly fast on skates and had the swiftest, most bullet-like shot in hockey; a shot so blindingly fast that the puck was in the net long before goalies knew what had happened," (Hiam) so he was also a good fit at forward.
How much of a load does Erik Karlsson carry on the Power Play? (it's a lot)
Karlsson:
330.5 / 357.48 =
92.5% (in progress through 69 games)
310.37 / 378.50 =
82%
335.28 / 440.00 =
76%
Injured 76.42 / 254.44 = 30% (only played in 40% of games)
315.31 / 438.39 =
72%
Karlson has 126 PP assists on a career total of 277 = 45.5% of that production comes on the PP. Whereas his goal scoring in much more prevalent at ES = just 22.9% of his goals are scored on PP. And remember he has largely played a career with pathetic F's compared to his peers or what he has at his disposal here.
Erik Karlsson
PPA = 45.5%
PPG = 22.9%
Brian Leetch
PPA = 55.2%
PPG = 44.9%
Paul Coffey
PPA = 46.1%
PPG = 34.1%
Denis Potvin
PPA = 44.7%
PPG = 41.0%
PP2:
Harris (half wall, pass/shoot) - Johansson (massive body/net) - Bowie (LH trigger, pass 2nd)
Pratt (LH Shot/pass) - Karlsson (QB, RH pass first)
PK1:
Pavelich - Curry
Stewart - Harper
PK2:
Messier - Walsh
Gardiner - Clapper

Drafting a team, where you cannot select more than 1 player from any 1 team. The team of record is whoever the player in question played the most games with.
So Gretzky would count as a player from Edmonton.
