New Haven Nighthawks​

The three-time Calder Cup finalists were affiliated with the NY Rangers, Minnesota North Stars and LA Kings over the decades of their existence as the latest of a long line of hockey teams in the history of New Haven going back to their team in the 1926-27 season of the Canadian-American Hockey League; that league and New Haven as one of the teams merging with another league to form the precursor of the American Hockey League. New Haven's nicknames changed from the Eagles to the Ramblers, Tomahawks, Nutmegs, Blades, Senators, the Beast and Knights but the longest running nickname has been the Nighthawks.

The name I have in mind isn't ... connotatively disgusting, like Salt Lake City Abortions or New Zealand Black ***** or whatever. It's just that what i have in mind would make a very, very back team name...

It takes a month to complete the first round. Me no like that!!!

Do you really want to lose to the Oilers again GBC? I'd have figured you'd be trying hard to get out of the same division as the mighty Oil!!

I think the MLD showed that it's possible to get through with a really short window (we ran with 4 hours) and that was over the summer. It wasn't until the end when teams started missing their time windows, and at that point there wasn't much chance the player you wanted would be gone regardless. Four hourss is probably too short for the ATD, but there's really no need for 24 hours.

IMO, 12 hours for the first few rounds, since they make or break a team pretty much, and then 6-8ish after that.

Not many West Coast teams so far. It'd be nice to have a Vancouver, Calgary and out east a New York.

I'd have maybe 8 hours from the 9th until the 16th or something, but if we go with this schedule I'm personally perfectly happy.
