I personally don't think he's NHL material----not off to a good start at Rockford this year either.....if he gets buried in Rockford and knows he can play in SWE, then that seems the road that some will take.

Timmy was considered a steal at the time and consensus good pick in the 4th round. His coach called him the best player he coached since Viktor Arvidssson and said he'd follow a similar trajectory.

Drake Batherson is the only player drafted after Soderlund to become an NHL regular. Bemstrom is close. We'll see what happens with Kalynuk. But otherwise none of the other selections have really amounted to much.

I don't think it was a bad pick. Can't really argue they should have drafted Batherson or Bemstrom. Hindsight is 20/20.

I meant it in the sense that he couldn't even make it in the AHL. He was mostly an ECHL guy.

I should've clarified more. That's my fault. He had 8 points in 59 AHL games and 15 points in 15 ECHL games. He produced more in the ECHL than the AHL.
