After last night's loss I found it a bit hard to continue to write the usual "Panthers' fought back, but fell shot" mumbo jumbo that has pretty much been the only headline for the past few weeks. Instead, I gathered my thoughts before leaving the BB&T Center and went home and wrote my first personal piece about the Panthers in a while.

Keep in mind this is all my opinion not just as someone who covers the team for a blog, but also as a South Florida resident that wants the Panthers to be something special. I am sure not everyone agrees, but I just thought it might start a good conversation, or build on the conversations that have already been going on on these message boards.

As always, thanks for reading.

I agree with most of what you wrote. They really need some real talent to take the pressure off the young talent and allow them to develop.
