Soderblom is an undrafted 21yo goalie, so no, he's not bumping out one of Delia/Subban. Not this year anyways.

Also if anyone read the Elliotte’s post he never said the Hawks were close to signing, he said multiple teams were interested and assumed Chicago was one of them.

Soderblom would add good depth to the goalie pipeline.

Lankinen/Subban/Delia...Tomkins......(Soderblom)............Basse...Commesso.

That's a big age gap between Tomkins and Basse. Soderblom would fill that age gap well, especially with Gravel/Nalimov not panning out.

Hawks have never signed a Euro goalie and given him NHL roster spot

Hawks still need to find a vet goalie to pair with Lankinen IMO

delia and subban are still under contract. my guess is one of them is the backup next year. they are cheap and are they any worse then the VETs that get singed as back ups for double t he price? Cam ward comes to mind.
