In the 9/27/14 Herald, Chiarelli says:
Pastrnak still out
Top pick David Pastrnak, who suffered a bruised shoulder in practice last week, is not with the team.
But general manager Peter Chiarelli expressed optimism the 18-year-old will play one or more of the final three preseason games this coming week.
“I think he’ll play games next week,†said Chiarelli. “It’s going to be hard for him (to make the team). He’s made a good impression. This has been a little disappointing. It’s a little bit of a setback for him. I know there was a lot of hype around him making the team. I’ve been trying to temper expectations, really because of his size and age. I don’t know if it was a longshot (for him to stay), but I wasn’t expecting it.â€

I guess this is in contrast with what he said about a week ago ... about Pastrnak's possibility of making the team, about playing on Krejci's line, etc ...
Looks like Pastrnak's ticketed for Sweden, unless he does something great.
Other players of his size has done well in the NHL. For example, Steve Sullivan (165 lbs) did pretty well in the NHL.
