I find the narrative around Roy via most islander fans to be hilarious.

Rod and the Canes both seem to be slow playing this. Rod because there will be a bidding war regardless of series outcome and Canes because Dundon is cheap and has his eye on a rebuild. Their stars are young and under contract and they have a ton of expiring contracts
