I see a corporate ad in a highly visible place...:sarcasm::sarcasm::sarcasm:

Blokes wear soccer kits with a giant VODAFONE logo on it like fashion.

Once it becomes the norm, it'll become a search for the year they had cool sponsors.

Greed is king mate.

Here's Bettman addressing the board about it...

200.gif

You cursed that poor ugly lad.

Now we can put it to rest why he was dealt. @BHD gave him bad Juju.

I’m sure Adidas will make jerseys available at the retail level without ads.

A lot of them are gambling sites these days. Not a fan of that. Gambling, alcohol & tobacco should not be on jerseys.

Yeah, but I mean...booze and gambling are allowed at arenas. So there's that.

Adult vices

Kids mainly. These are their idols. In Australia and Canada tobacco ads are banned already. More exposure to gambling ads as a children leads to more gamblers which can become problematic, ditto alcohol.

I had a Staal one, too. Guess what happened...

Can you go buy a Pettersson, Ceci, Sullivan, and Rutherford one?

Also an Aston-Reese one please.

How dare you.

How f***ing dare you.

You know @ColePens has been crying himself to sleep with his Patric Hornqvist body pillow and now you say insensitive shit like that? His boy. His champion.

This f***ing board is going straight to shit.

It's almost as if they just dun care

Mate I got you, pull up those skinny leather pants and bring it in mate, a sweet embrace.

I can't wait for the Panthers to have a giant Brazzers or Bbros logo and see how the NHL pretends it's wrong while also being super desperate for cash flow.

Btw dead serious. Where does the NHL draw the line for sponsors? They need to supplement the losses of this year and next year and it's a whopper of an amount. Do you turn away stuff like that? There would be conflicts of interests etc.

I mean, I think you’re taking an absurd point of view here.

In what way.

I mean this happened, an attempt - Internet porn business submits $10M naming rights bid for Miami Heat home

NBA can say meh to 10m but the NHL? Some owner would probably seriously debate it.

No chance this happens

Of course in all actuality, it does add up to a publicity stunt.
The NBA may be the most progressive league in major American sports, but the Heat surely aren’t going to promote family ticket packages to invite parents and children out to a wholesome evening at “The BBC.”
Nor would the league subject broadcast partners to open their coverage “live from the BangBros Center.”
It’s reminiscent of marijuana dispensaries in Denver seeking to buy naming rights for the Broncos’ Mile High Stadium.
While the idea of the weed-embracing city having its “Mile High” football stadium named for a marijuana company is good for a laugh, it’s not good for the NFL — at least in the minds of league executives.
So bravo to BangBros for generating some headlines. Just don’t expect to see this as a successful bid, as eager as the company surely is to spend that $10 million.

You wanker, it wasn’t that it would get approved, it’s more so...a curiosity that they’ve tried to sponsor NBA arenas, Soccer, but the NHL no.

Can’t complain about a dance you weren’t invited to.

Does feel like a slight that they don’t even take the NHL seriously enough to do that.

Anyhow nearly at the same time it was announced that Gretzky had 500K stolen from him in memorabilia.

I'm not sayin I'm just sayin.

That's one joint Mark Messier wishes he could unroll.

Lundqvist should promote watches.
I want the ad where Joel has dandruff and Henrik walks in with a bottle of head and shoulders and then they stare lovingly into each others eyes leaving the audience to decide what happens next.
