That 1st goal was brutal. No NHL goalie should be letting anyone score from that angle.
That is the spot that modern goaltending gives up to better protect against a cross-crease pass.
It is the trade off that goalies make regularly to reduce the odds on the higher danger play working.
Gibson's post integration was pretty good given that it was on his blocker side post. The only way to be better on that chance while playing a modern game is merely being taller and making that small window in the top corner a little bit smaller.
