Nashville comes back from down 4-1 to win 5-4 in OT.
Edit: They are 16-0-2 in their last 18. Incredible.

1st round is gonna be hardThey’d be a tough first round matchup, although I don’t think there are any easy outs in the west
Had some hopes that the Blues or Wild would sneak into the playoffs but the odds are probably less than 10% now.1st round is gonna be hard
DaaaaangMan this years 1st round is gonna be a bloodbath.
Fight for the standings is ridiculously tight just like your mom.

Utah is going to love them.Very cool.
Wanted Josh Doan in the 2021 draft. At the time it was a bit of a reach by ARZ but good on them for knowing his work ethic smarts and bloodline would give him a leg up on becoming a NHLer even if he was a bit of a late bloomer and passed over in 2020
The diesel looks like he's gonna become a power forward in this league
Zona is starting to show a pretty good young core of players that should alter that franchise if they can ever get the off ice stuff ironed out.
Coyotes have a boatload of 2nd rounders over these next 3 drafts. Have their own, plus Was/Fla in 2024, Tor, Edm, NYR in 2025, and NYR, Ott in 2026. Also 3rds for Edm, Col in 2024, Car in 2026.Utah is going to love them.

But, NHL isn't the NFL with extra 2nds and 3rds to build up a roster. Much harder to find, but more importantly really is developing them.
Seen a few threads on the Trade board of fans of teams wanting to trade up into the top 10, but unless those teams in the top 10 are looking at adding multiple picks (in what is being called a weaker draft, like what SJ did 2 drafts ago going from like 11 to 27 and getting 2 early second rounders from AZ due to their lack of prospects), or planning on using those extra picks like Mtl did to get a NHL player like Newhook, not sure I see a reason for the those in the top 12 or so in the draft to look to trade down, given where those teams are in their cycle.
Montreal, Buffalo, Seattle, NJ looking to get better for next season, so want Now players. So, they'd have be working the phones to have a second deal in place if they traded back to add extra picks.
Most of the others like Cal should keep their picks.
If you don't have a track record of finding players, then those extra 2nds are not worth the same as they would be to teams that have been successful in finding and developing players in round 2.unless you're the Dallas Stars
indeed, you have to have solid scouting to make hay....and even then it's a crap shoot. Just mentioned Dallas as they've plucked 2 core players, probably 3 with Stankoven. If you don't have a track record of finding players, then those extra 2nds are not worth the same as they would be to teams that have been successful in finding and developing players in round 2.
...good.… predators are going to pass the jets?
See that still scares me... would suck to draw the jets, totally out play them, then lose the series because Helly stood on his head....good.
I would much rather play the Jets than Preds in Rd1.
Jets are coming down and finally getting exposed this season for what they are: Team Connor Hellebuyck. If he's brilliant, they win. If he's not, we see that the Jets are really just an average-mediocre team.
