Pens / Avs OT: Avs win the faceoff, carry the puck back out of their zone at least 2 if not 3 times, and win the game without the Pens ever touching the puck. Way past time to adopt some type of "back court" rule.

Crazy finish to the VGK/Blues game. Blues tie it late, get a penalty shot opportunity in OT. Thompson makes the save, then Vegas scores on the next shift.

But if St. Louis had won that game, there was a better chance the Knights would have missed the dance altogether. Which means the current $21 million in cap space they’re currently circumventing on LTIR would be all for naught.

Yeah, they were booed off the ice after the first period. Which, you know, down 5-0 to the Sens after 1 period is definitely boo-worthy.

I think Tampa is going to take 3 in the Atlantic and Washington is going to take 3 in the metro. I’m not sure if I want (or don’t want) either of these to happen but I kinda think they will

I would have guessed that they are both at the bottom of the Atlantic. But Ottawa and Montreal ruined my joke. Stupid Habs.
Another corollary to this joke is that the Leafs are similar to the Titanic in that they'll both never make it out of the Atlantic.

It is not you. And that’s the thing - take a look at their top 6 and their top 4 D (3 lefties I know) … who do you NOT like? No one. Yes all of them have a weakness or two, but nothing that screams “I don’t want him on my team.”
And they can’t do a damn thing when it matters.
Of course … they needed Bill Peters to talk to the goalies throughout most of the season. That’s been the biggest thing.
