I think its about as good a you could hope for in both circumstances.
Agree with this.

Winnipeg is definitely a better team the next two seasons. They have sufficient goal-scorers so Dubois makes them harder to play against. Also, his father works in Winnipeg so he is likely to be comfortable immediately.

Columbus looked good today, their PP improves significantly. Plus the whole 1C thing might be overrated: Edmonton so far this season, Buffalo every year, Florida the past few seasons.

For Laine to stay they need to keep moving forward as a team and find him a legit center. If they’re middling with no big obvious reason for improvement it’s hard to imagine he’s the one that stays after pretty much everyone else has left.
