I like the Rags, but feel bad for Rod B at the same time. He’s an unreal motivator and coach. Laviolette is a Jack hole. Will be interesting to see what happens with Rod and his contract in the next week.

He's a good motivator, but his problem is that his relentless tempo runs the team into the ground and uses up all their energy/creativity come playoff time. Very much like what happened with Sutter in Calgary.

Nah. Canes work hard but don’t have enough goal scoring. No top stars to put them over the hump.

That was a horrible defensive effort.

Anyway, f*** the Canes
What an absolute cringe moment in Carolina. Your team is successful every season, you've even won a cup in 2006 and your fans zoom out of the arena so fast most of the crowd isn't even watching the handshake line or the players saluting the crowd. The Canes turn around to salute the crowd and most of them have already abandoned the club and are in the parking lot. f*** these fans. Thats one of the worst displays of smell you later that I've ever seen.

A young girl wih more sense than her mother. Girl is crying, wants to stay to the end, Barbie mom has other things to do and prodding her kid to leave now with a minute left. jebus just stay and say goodbye to your club. The young girl that didn't want to leave realized that more than most of the crowd.

The Canes even almost scored a couple times after people left.

you just know people don't even get hockey when they don't stick around, win or lose for the handshakes at least. The best team sportsmanship moments known in pro sports. Warriors in a bloodsport of hockey getting together and saluting each other. Those are gold moments canes fans don't even understand.

Yeah I was disappointed to see that display. You gotta stay to the end, regardless of the circumstances of the game. Kind of felt bad for the kids crying, they showed more heart than their parents

Yep. Its also adults not comprehending the moment for your kids. For your kid that moment will live on forever. If you don't want to stay at least do it for the kid. Those are freeze frame moments and not everything in life is about just winning or buying expensive purses. your kid wants to stay to the end, wave goodbye to the players and understands more about why they are there than grown adults.

The only people sticking around were the Rangers fans or the young Carolina fans that were there without parents.

Shesterkins had a few down moments but he looked cool in the dying minutes. Gigantic save with 2 minutes to go which would have been a huge momentum swing going the other way.
