99% of players that get suspended just make a bad decision in the moment but don't really mean to hurt anyone. And I can understand hits like that even if they're ugly because that's just the nature of the game. But Rinaldo is that other 1% that's either too dumb to avoid dangerous hits or just doesn't give a **** about player safety. Seems like he's never going to learn.

I'd go with the first one. He doesn't seem like he's brightest of the bunch.

I know it's based on his long history but it's crazy that he got 5 games for a fairly minor hit (from what I remember) when some really dangerous hits just get a couple

Watch the video and explanation...was not a minor hit. He hit squarely on Paquette's head with his shoulder and made no attempt to play the puck whatsover. Its an illegal hit that resulted in no injury. If Paquette would have been injured on the play that would be 10+ games 'cause repeat offender.

It should have been longer.

2012: Fined $2,500 for a hit on Josefson & $2,500 for a quote "dangerous trip" on Parise. Both fines were league maxs under CBA
2012: suspended 2 games for hit on Ericsson
2014: suspended 4 games for hit on Ruhwedel
2015: suspended 8 games for hit on Letang

When you are a repeat offender, your punishment should increase. Why are we giving him less?

I made a joke on Twitter about Florida only having 10 shots on net after two periods.

They came back from 2-1 down to win after that.

So, you guys, I'll take the blame on this one.

One of those wins was a 6-3 whipping of the Bruins in Boston before winning games in Boston was old hat for us. Nobody could've expected that they would only win five of their next 17 games to follow that.

Subban stretchered off the ice... At first it looked like another dive (at least with the dramatic glove throwing) but he must've been in lots of pain. Hope he's alright, fan or not. That Emelin guy though...

Since we're playing against the Stars on Thursday I think that's the case. He seem like a great guy and while he stuggled some here he still had his moments and I hope that he will have a happy retirement.

I'll be at that game so I'll give him some loud Stars/Bolts appreciation on behalf of the board :)
