If Strome doesn't make it out of camp somehow, I'd trade him for Pulju. Set him free and let him run around greener pastures with his buddy McDavid.

Strome hasn't exactly panned out as hoped yet, but he also is far from a bust at this point. 21 year old players don't put up over a ppg in the AHL very often. Especially 6'3" centers. He's still got loads of potential. No way Arizona would consider moving him for Yamamoto IMO.

While I recognize Strome as a great prospect, I have no interest in moving Puljujarvi or Yamma.

Edmonton says no. They need RW not centers. Awful trade

Edmonton wings in value, but Strome doesn't move the needle much for me. With McDavid, Draisaitl, and RNH the last thing Edmonton needs is another LH offensive centre.

Contrast that to Yamamoto or Puljujarvi, who (along with the other Strome) are the few skilled RH shots the Oil have upfront.

Hopefully Strome blooms a little late like Couture, Turris, and Johansen before him. By the new year, the Coyotes should have a pretty good idea whether Strome is going to have what it takes to be a decent top six nhl center. They’ve waited three long years. They can wait another six months.
