Sports, entertainment and science are joining together in a way never before seen in Seattle. Join us for the second program in our new Science in the City series, bringing together three innovative powerhouses: NHL Seattle, Oak View Group and Pacific Science Center. We will delve into the sound and acoustic design of the New Arena at Seattle Center. How will the new arena connect and engage fans through acoustics and what technology will make this venue state-of-the-art? Come hear how the arena will be one of the loudest in the NHL, while also providing a quality of music experience that is best in class.
The evening will begin with a reception and followed by an insider presentation on the scope, depth and true impact of this massive and exciting undertaking on our community. Join us at 5:45 p.m. for drinks and light bites before the presentation. Tickets are just $10 or FREE for Pacific Science Center Members. | Doors to the reception open at 5:45 p.m., with doors opening for the lecture at 6:10 p.m. The presentation runs 6:30-8:30 p.m.

I went to the first one in February and it was really enlightening. Tod Leiweke and other FO members were there, too, which really said a lot about them. And each one was very friendly and polite. Definitely go if you can. I'm missing the 3rd period (or more) of my Bruins' G7 vs Toronto to be there!
