Ottawa is listed at 9862. This is no longer accurate. Their private boxes were inspected after the renovation for Lansdowne Park and they were condemned. So, they can no longer use them. I am not sure what their new capacity figure is but it is probably in the 8800 range.

That twitter post was probably me.

I used the data that was published in the 2016-17 OHL Media Information Guide so for me this would be the official number until something changes, some of these numbers do not line up with Wiki

http://ontariohockeyleague.com/ohl-media-information-guide/

Some teams list a number for seating capacity then another adding standing room.

In Kingston case 5614 that includes standing room.

Its 10,500 with the boxes so the 8862 is about right.

Flint has 3,960 seats and room for another 400 with standing room tickets.

It hasn't been 10500 since they redid the seating sound 2002. it was reduced to the 9862 after they put in the new seats which is what is showing on the Wikipedia page.

Now they have no private boxes which lowers it to below 9000 but I am not sure what that number is.

That Media Guide lists it as 6200 which is the number based on the curtained off area. The expandable to 9862 is including the boxes which are not allowed to be used as of right now.

The Dow is something like 5500 but somehow for the last home game they said they sold it out with a standing room crowd of 5800. Seemed legit. With no playoff games this year fans really came out for the last chance to see the Spirit play.

Ottawa's was 20,500 when they played at the CTC.

Fast forward to today and 1,800 for a playoff game at TDP is quite utterly sad and deplorable!

Owen Sound has been clearing about 3,100-3,200 in the playoffs which is pretty much a sellout building plus/minus a row or two of seats throughout the whole building

Old thread, but if you haven't checked out the site below, there might be some information that might be of interest. It seems to be run by one guy that is a knights fan who likes to travel, so it isn't "official" and some of it is a bit out of date. He seems to have done of decent amount of research though. Erie's capacity is 6,833 though, not 5,500 as stated in the arena guide.

The Peterborough Memorial Centre capacity is listed at 4329. Not sure if that capacity is for hockey? Any time there has been a sellout(which usually only happens a couple times a year) the attendance never breaks the 4000 mark. The last time we had over 4000 for a hockey game was in 1996 for the memorial cup. So I kinda question where they get that figure from...unless they are counting all the toilets as seats as well.
