Are players allowed to wear fake facial hair for the playoffs?

and it got me thinking, i'd feel kind of bad for him if he got left behind. Even with a head start it doesnt look like its going to go well for Mitchy. Is wearing a fake beard against the rules?

No it's not against the rules. Craig Janney wore a ZZ-Top style fake beard all playoffs one year, and I seem to recall Russ Courtnal wearing a gag Groucho Marx glasses-nose-and-moustache in the 1993 playoffs.

I'm pretty sure you can just cut a little bit off of Thornton's and have it regrow on your face. Just make sure to regularly water it and keep it in direct sunlight.

I'd say more like masculine.

For me personally my hair fell out on the top so I had to grow a beard. I look like a thumb when I'm clean shaven
