Appalachian League gets new league logo

First the Southern League, now the Appy League gets a new logo for the 2016 season:

Nice upgrade.

Yep. Nice looking logo there. Simple and clean. It's not super exciting or anything and kinda looks like the label you'd find on a beer bottle but it works for me. Probably not the best as a main but a really good secondary.

Definitely better than the old logo and I like that this emphasizes the history of the league while keeping most of the old color scheme. A step up for the Appy League.

It could be mistaken for a team logo though. It sort of reminds me of the West Virginia Black Bears (Short Season A, New York-Penn League affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates)
