Anyone else have the Oakley visor problem?

When I fit my Oakley visor to my CCM 1052 helmet, I have to totally force the visor on to the point where it feels like its gonna break (the side bits that you screw on). Is this normal? The bit where the screw goes in look as if it is gonna tear through the hardened polystyrene, which in turn will bugger the helmet completely. So, is this just me or.....

i cant' answer...i have the oakley visor on a bauer helmet.

It is the Oakley Pro aviator one, with the nose cut in the middle. I don't think that matters, as it seems like the visor is far too wide for the helmet, which is a large size.

I had that problem, just had to force it like you said.
