It never really caught on but the last dozen or so Kings fans I've brought it up to have just given me blank stares.

Was all about it. Want to say it was used primarily in 97-98 as 98-99 was a disaster for not only the team but its enforcers as Johnson killed Buekeboom and lost the eye of the tiger afterwards while McKenna took on Tony Twist and got hurt, barely playing that season. The highlight for the line in 98-99 was late in the season in Detroit when a nice little line brawl erupted, although McKenna still got embarrassed by Todd Gill.

The downfall of Johnson and McKenna being hurt did pave the way for the Mark Visheau experience, for which I am very grateful. Also led to Laperriere starting to fight his own battles, setting him on his way to go from hated pest with no respect to the warrior status he has today.
