He has played enough hockey this year. It is time to heal and work on next year.

So far Team Canada only has 3 confirmed players, meaning there are spots open. I wouldn't be shocked if Mantha, AA and Bertuzzi all get asked, and all accept the invitation. It is a prime opportunity for them to showcase their skills to the rest of the hockey world. They are all signed for next year, are all healthy, all had productive years.

I'd like to see Zadina and Hronek in the tournament, but I see the Griffins going on a long playoff run.
