Speculation: Any interest in Robin Lehner if available?

I've been high on Lehner before, but I wouldn't be knocking down doors to get him. I still like his upside, and think he would succeed where he got enough repetition, but I'm not giving up big assets for him.

Ok explain. You don't know who Cam Talbot is.

Tell me how a guy who plays a very limited amount of games because he's behind one of the best goalies in the league can come in and play like he belongs each and every night?

You've told me all I need to know about your goaltending analysis by citing GAA, arguably the least relevant goaltending statistic there is when one considers it's largely driven by how many shots one faces. Talbot plays behind the best defensive team in hockey. That's great for fantasy hockey purposes, but doesn't mean anything for Buffalo.

Talbot is also 36th of 46 goaltenders in Quality Start Percentage (min. 20 starts). He's hardly a stud.

overpay Niemi for 2 years and sign one of the 'upside' guys as a backup.
