Well, to respond much more tactfully...

Chuck Fletcher has been quoted multiple times as saying he wouldn't want to give up "significant" assets to acquire a goalie. Subjectively, I'd assume that significant assets would be relevant to a top 60 pick and/or prospect.

The trade for Dubnyk says it all. Only a third round pick? Seems to solidify Fletcher's line of thinking in terms of assets. I just don't think there was a deal to be had with Anderson.
