i just pray that Hitchcock can put some better organisation in the D-Squad so we can survive in season, and Honka rise his level of game because he has the potential to do so !

Even if Bishop struggles, what does that have to do with Niemi? Or even Kari for that matter? Those two goalies being terrible and overpaid has no bearing on Bishop.

Kari has choked whenever it matters, including in both of his playoff runs for the Stars. Massive mental collapses. So bad that Nill went and overpaid for Niemi to be the starter after watching Kari have a bad season following his meltdown against the Ducks.

Only it turns out Niemi was washed up and wasn't capable of taking Kari's job. Niemi is a flopping goalie who makes reflex saves, and that style usually declines sooner as the reflexes slow with age. It turns out the Sharks were done with him for a reason.

There's a reason Nill hasn't been able to move either one. They're awful.
