He'll be staying up in our lineup. He had a good preseason and very good game tonight.

Slepyshev was strong on the forecheck, he was creating turnovers and played hard every shift. He played like a guy that doesn't want to go back down to the AHL.

Was a really good player in the KHL, was in the Oilers farm system the last two years and worked his way up to the big club. Scores his first NHL goal, First NHL goals are special.
