Sucks for Duke. He relies so much on his speed and well, that's the worst injury to get for speed.

Well, at least that clears up 3mil in cap most of this year. Maybe this injury keeps him out till the mid/end of next April due to a "slow" recovery.

Edit: On second thought, only posting that sounds really crass and flippant. I love what Duke brings; just need to get him over the hump in the playoffs. Hope he battles back to 100% more for himself than for any particular benefit to the team.

About to get kucherov’d. Wait until the last minute to get surgery, and then sit out the whole year. LTIR that contract since we wanted to trade him anyways (the fans, at least). I’m sure he’ll bounce back once he recovers. Hope it doesn’t effect his career. I think he’ll be ok, fingers crossed

Given the timeline for recovery, it's most likely a partial tear. A complete tear is usually a year or more to recover and potential career-ender.
