Sad to see him go but the Vikings couldn't compete with the money he'll likely get. He also wanted to play more as a pass rusher than an off ball LB and should get that opportunity now. The down side is he has to play for Gregg Williams but the money should more than make up for it.

The NFL really needs to stop saying trades and signings have happened before they are confirmed.

A report from a media source is one thing, a story by the league is another.

They just did this with Antonio Brown's non trade to Buffalo.

The tweet literally says Anthony Barr “intends” to sign with the Jets. Nowhere does it say it was done.

The Vikings don't even have the money to make this signing right now so it'll be interesting to see what they do. It sounds like Everson Griffen has an offer for a contract restructure and if he declines then he'll likely be cut before his salary becomes guaranteed on Friday.

The NFL had a story headline that said he had signed.

That's a fact.

Not a headline that said he intends to sign.

Definitely working on Griffen and probably Rudolph.

The fact that there’s a “legal tampering period” which is literally called “the legal tampering period” is completely bush league.

I enjoyed seeing new contract announcements like 10 minutes after the opening of FA.
That's some mighty fast negotiating.

That's why they call it a legal tampering period, old team still gets a chance and the Vikings took it.
