Treat yourself.

1. Buffalo: Rasmus Dahlin
No surprises here—Jason Botterill runs to the podium to take the slick Swede.

2. Carolina: Andrei Svechnikov
New GM Don Waddell takes the big Russian to start the new era under Tom Dundon’s leadership.

3. Montreal: Quinn Hughes
Talk all week of Kotkaniemi being their guy-smoke screen. Bergevin and Head Scout Trevor Timmins try to trade down but can’t risk it and end up taking the dynamic Hughes at 3.

4. Ottawa (optional to COL): Noah Dobson
A Seth Jones clone. Great skater, high IQ, size, character and leadership. With the anticipated departure of 65, Dobson will anchor the defense with Thomas Chabot for years to come.

5. Arizona: Brady Tkachuk
Brady joins the Coyotes where his father once played. Big body, gritty, showed at the WJC he can raise his game. Rick Tocchet will love this player.

6. Detroit: Adam Boqvist
Hakan Andersson has had his eye on Adam for years. Undersized, skilled, and smart D will learn from another similar player in Kronwall. Wash, rinse, repeat—typical RedWings pick.

7. Vancouver: Jesperi Kotkaniemi
A few surprises allow Vancouver to get their hands on the falling Kotkaniemi. Expecting to take a D, Jim Benning is all too happy to take the big Center.

8. Chicago: Filip Zadina
The Halifax sniper falls to Chicago. Should fit in nicely with the stable of forwards in the Windy City.

9. NY Rangers: Vitali Kravtsov
Jeff Gorton swings for the fences on this one. The Russian forward had a phenomenal KHL playoffs.

10. Edmonton: Evan Bouchard
Edmonton pounces on the London D. They were hoping to nab one of the top Ds and they do just that. Bouchard and McDavid will give penalty kills nightmares.

11. NY Islanders: Oliver Wahlstrom
Expect a trade here but if not Lou grabs a pure sniper in Wahlstrom.

12. NY Islanders (from CGY): Ty Smith
Undersized offensive wizard. The new era of defensemen is upon us.

13. Dallas: Barrett Hayton
Head scout Joe McDonnell opts for the SSM center. Look for Hayton to break out offensively next year. We will look back and wonder how he fell this far.

14. Philadelphia (from STL): Joe Veleno
Philly dips into the Q pipeline where they have had good success. Veleno is a slick skating skilled center who will have a huge year on a strong Drummondville team. They see Simon Gagne 2.0.

15. Florida: Grigori Denisenko
Florida opts for the skilled Russian forward. Dadonov and Barkov will help the young Russian thrive with the Panthers.

16. Colorado: Martin Kaut
17. New Jersey: Domink Bokk
18. Columbus: Rusmas Kupari
19. Philadelphia: Liam Foudy
20. Los Angeles: Joel Farabee
21. San Jose: Ty Dellandrea
22. Ottawa (from PIT): Serron Noel
23. Anaheim: Isac Lundestrom
24. Minnesota: Ryan Mcleod
25. Toronto: Rasmus Sandin
26. NY Rangers (from BOS): Alexander Alexeyev
27. Chicago (from NSH): Jacob Bernard Docker
28. NY Rangers (from TBL): Ryan Merkley
29. St. Louis (from WPG): Jay Obrien
30. Detroit (from VGK): K’andre Miller
31. Washington: Bode Wilde

Kratsov at 9? Lol that's way off. I don't think zadina will fall to 8. 6th at the lowest I'd say. Wahlstrom would be a sweet pick for the isles but he won't be out of the top 10

I've also predicted Zadina falling to the Hawks. Stranger things have happened. Just look at Vilardi last year. We're already hearing talks about Zadina slipping out of the top 5. At this point in the year everyone starts overthinking things and flavour of the month players like Kotkanimei and Dobson get hyped to extreme levels and people just forget guys like Zadina have been rock solid the whole year.

Calgary trades Dougie H in order to move up and take Brady Tkachuk so he can play with his father, Matthew.

Not crazy over selecting Sandin when Berggren, Wilde, Miller are all available. In fact, I'd be pretty disappointed.
