The worst is they try to be cute about it.

Commercials generally just go in one ear and out the other and don't really register with me. Also, many times, I'll often pick up my iPad and read four s or do something else during commercials and intermissions.

Who thought it would be a good commercial idea for Will Arnett's underage, young daughters to be plugging Dicks.com sporting goods? And the commercial to end with him telling them to check the website out and the older one (looks to be 13 or so) telling Will back that she already has and was the one who told him about it.

The double entendre is clear and disgusting - maybe that's normal for mainstream programming nowadays?

Same here. Probably won't realize how dumb the commercials are until the finals

Ugh, those pharma ones are terrible, especially with our laws about not being able to even mention what it does
Disagree. Having to listen to 45 seconds of potential side effects is worse.

The old Cialis ones were good for a chuckle.

I find most of the ads annoying just because of the relentless repetition but AT&T commercials I don't mind (for now) because it's like a mini The Office reunion.

But after it's forced down my throat over and over again that will quickly change.

They used to play a series of workplace safety ads during the break between the early game and the late game when Hockey Night in Canada was still on CBC. This one woke me up once:

...it's the screaming.

I know better to click play on that one.

There were a couple others, made solely for shock value and nothing more. Good thing they weren't around for very long.

They based their program on the Transport Accident Commission shock value because it works. They actually had a dip in workplace accidents after airing that series. The guy being blown out of the building due to the exploding oxy-acetylene torch also used to disturb me.

The AT&T one from March Madness with the two people singing out of tune was terrible, and somehow conveyed over to the SC playoffs.

It's a shame because the original song they're singing is pretty good.
