Since it's a conference call and not an in person press conference, I don't think it's a retirement. Signing Ryan Carter is not enough for a conference call. (Gionta/Bernier didn't get a conference call).

Capgeek doesn't have anything on Greene, Gelinas, or Carter. They will usually have it if it's done.
Also just noticed that Merrill is the only defenseman signed beyond this year. Yikes.

I hope it's locking up Greene. Lou has been very active in extending RFA's and it's been dead silent on the Greene news so it wouldn't surprise me. I'm hoping for something big though but I doubt it's anything we don't somewhat expect.

I think Lou/Marty is in person and not a call. That leaves Greene.

He needed to sign offense, make Corey the number 1, and solidify the defense/clear the logjam. Greene would be the final piece.

I like the optimism IF, and a big IF, that all happens at once then our summer will be dead until training camp as Lou will have done literally everything we could have wanted him to. I'll take it.
