After the Brett Cecil signing turned ugly, color me surprised the Cards are going down this road again.

Yeah I could see them leap frogging the Cubs this year and battling it out with Milwaukee. I think the Brewers take the division but they could be a strong WC candidate.

Anyway, as a Cards fan, I love this deal. Wasn't long ago that Miller was elite. If he's healthy, I look for him to bounce back and help solidify the bullpen, and possibly help out young arms such as Jordan Hicks, Dakota Hudson, Ryan Helsley, Alex Reyes (if he transitions to the bullpen). and - if he makes the team - Genesis Cabrera.
