Sounds like he isn't but.... as far as we're concerned.....Dang is freddie dead?
I didn't read this as DeCock implying it's a non-cancer liver issue. I read it as "it's not a sudden diagnosis of late stage cancer" issue.Decock saying it's a liver issue
Without knowing anything but the fact that Halak is getting a PTO to have 3 goalies long-term, I can't argue with that concern.Idk. But it does sound like he's gone for the bulk of the season if not all of it. Or more.
It's hard for me to focus on this when we have no idea what "this" is, but agreed.Let’s focus on what matters for a second.
I hope he’s ok because this sounds bad even if it isn’t life threatening. It still sounds potentially legit bad. Thoughts and prayers to Freddie till we know more.
I feel like kochetkov has a higher ceiling than Andersen but getting him steady is the issue.Without knowing anything but the fact that Halak is getting a PTO to have 3 goalies long-term, I can't argue with that concern.
Ugh. Andersen may be spotty, but he also has the highest ceiling of any of these goalies, and showed it last year in the postseason when the Canes needed it.
Can Raanta/Kochetkov carry the Canes in the playoffs? I know Kochetkov has shown flashes of brilliance, and Raanta can carry the load for short periods. But I think we would be looking at a tandem in the playoffs.

And Hes finally getting steady in SyracuseI feel like kochetkov has a higher ceiling than Andersen but getting him steady is the issue.
Maybe this is the opportunity he needs. He's been stellar in the AHLAnd Hes finally getting steady in Syracuse
World class medical teams at both Duke and UNC Hospital systems and if he needs a liver specialist I’m sure they could identify one quickly in the US Medical system.Poor guy. I hope he finds a good medical team who can help with whatever is going on.
