"Not at all (On the long term vision changing). If we were not expecting him to need a breather it's because we weren't very smart. We knew he'd need a breather. We wanted to give him a lot of games to make him understand what it is and then we wanted to give him a breather and then get back in it and grow his game after that. He's a young guy. We knew it when Steve acquired him last summer, the first thing he said was "let's net peg him as a #1 and put pressure on him." He's a young guy that has tons of potential that is going to grow at his own pace and that's what's going on right now. He's had some very good games and then after that he had a lot of good games in a row that didn't necessarily turn out his way but then he played a lot. There's a lot of pressure and this is the first time he gets that and it's our responsibility to pull him out, give him a breather, give him some repetition in practice time, which he hadn't gotten in weeks, so that's our responsibility to do that and take care of him. ...Outstanding attitude. Work ethic, attitude, he's an unbelievable individual. We knew that though, in Nashville they told us, we did our homework before, so for us it's just a question of time and experience, how long, and all that. If you look at when Carey Price came into the league it took years in Montreal to get the consistency that you are expecting, and the experience, and the maturity, so why would he be any different then those goaltenders. It'd be unrealistic for us to hope he comes in here and plays at 940 average and everything is great and e doesn't need to get the experience. He needs to get through all of that, like all goaltenders need to become a solid number 1."
