Sounds like a good signing by the ducks.

He was a tremendous player in the Alberta Junior Hockey League. Put up great points. He was a little smaller then but seems to have filled out now and is playing with a bit of sandpaper. He may need a couple of years in the A but Anaheim thinks he is worth a shot and gave him a pretty good contract for an undrafted player. Be interesting to see how he does at camp.

This excerpt was from the St. Paul Pioneer Press in February this year:

Gophers coach Don Lucia on Curtis Glencross of Anchorage, whose big hits have sidelined at least three WCHA players this season: "He's like a heat-seeking missile, wondering who he can run over on every shift. He's a good hockey player."
