Anaheim previously got Gudbranson from Pitt for a 7th round pick and a minor league roster filler guy.
Now they flip him for a 5th. A win for Anaheim.

That said Gudbranson was a good player who was like Manson-Lite.

For a guy people have occasionally been saying, no now he's good for that team... he seems to keep getting moved off from those teams.

Gudbranson was fine on the Penguins, but with Letang, Schultz, and the emergence of John Marino, there wasn't room for a fourth RD making $4M a season. Though in hindsight, Schultz played poorly enough that Gudbranson might have ultimately been the better choice to keep.
