FYI- David Warsofsky is now BOS property-- they acquired him from STL for Vladimir Sobotka on the draft's second day.

Also- Cam Darcy (94) and Brandon Shea (95) would make nice additions to the forward tables...

Might as well post here, since I assume that's what the thread is for, Schroeder started off the year with a bang — 3 assists in his first game of the season (AHL). Playing again tonight, I believe. Some criticisms of his defensive effort but he was +1 so he made up for it with his offense...

Perfect spot for it. Consider this as a one-stop shop for American prospects...whether that's a kid committing to an NCAA program, an injury, switching teams, or just how they're doing on a night-to-night basis...basically just to keep everyone informed.

Derek Stepan just got his first NHL goal on Ryan Miller. He deflected a point shot that then went off Tyler Myers' skate into his own net. Not the prettiest but it counts!!

He looks great though. His vision is insane.

That figures. I caught the first goal, which was a total fluke. Then I switched over to the Gophers game to see some of Bjugstad. How were the other two goals?

It seems like just yesterday when I first saw an unknown, unheralded Stepan show up on the Shattuck roster as a 16 year old. He's really had a meteoric rise the past few years.

Edit: Just saw the second one. He dug out a rebound off of a point shot and buried it up high.

Third one was a great feed by Avery from behind the net. Stepan slid into the dead zone in the slot and buried it. He almost just had a 4th too on a breakaway. It's his vision though that's still the most impressive thing.
