2 weeks left until hockey starts back up. I lifted weights and did HIIT and plyos all summer. Now on vacation, I have no access to weights but I do have a little training area where I can practice stickhanding and shooting with a variety of street/real pucks and balls.
My time to train is limited to 60 minutes / day.
I could practice hockey skills in the training area or do HIIT conditioning, body-weight exercises and plyos outside. Realisticlly, I'll probably do a little of both.
But I'm wondering which of the two types of training will give the most bang for the buck towards making me a better hockey player this year.
How would you allocate the training time?
