I vote for plan B - three spares at any position. I think having to draft a 3rd goalie is a bit silly and this makes things more flexible for teams that maybe want to throw out a different wrinkle during the playoffs.

Looks like we're one short even if we get the two maybes on-board. How long should we wait for spit and THG18, anyway?

D.

Most NHL clubs don't carry 3 goalies on the big league roster, but do have a couple healthy scratch skaters each night.

I love option D.

Mind you, it does somewhat take the wind out of the sails of the minor league draft doesn't it?

If we could figure out a way to make that work I'd prefer it.

For now... I'll vote C. I think a third goalie is a useful, but I like having an extra spot as well.

I'm in...
Just awaiting a decision concerning how divisions will be handled before calling my team, which WERE the Miami Screaming Eagles.

Montreal Canadiens.

I think Option B is the best choice. We should give GMs as much latitude as possible when creating their teams.

Option D

Are we going to have a vote regarding any changes to the playoff format?

One thing about B is that it'll make it even harder to try and project who other teams are going to pick. I don't know about the rest of you but I know I've based decisions on picking players based on that, especially in the later rounds

D sounds like it could be fun, though it may be a bit unnecessary (though spares themselves add a bit of flexibility, having another lineup of players wouldn't play much of a factor, IMO).

I like C personally, but I'd be fine with B.

Note: If we go with 'D' (not my vote) then I won't bother running a minor league draft afterwards. I was hoping to run an atd#8-ML concurrently with the next main atd#9 in the new year. But if we're gonna pick six minor leaguers now, and many g.m.s won't join the minor league draft anyways, it logistically kills a minor league draft. oh well. no big loss i guess.

....Well... I actually agree with VanIsle on this one.
Gotta edit my vote.

Confirming that the GBC/raleh entry will be known as Halifax RCAF in the next draft.

I like option B the most. MXD seemed to be headed in that direction with two of his spares. Definitely not fond of option D.

Welcome aboard to all rookies. Hopefully the co-GM thing works. Love the Flin Flon Bombers name, JFF. Looks like I'll have to find a different team for the next minor league draft. Melville Millionaires, here I come.

Twenty-three of 29 GMs are confirmed back from the last draft. Hopefully Spit comes back for this round. Always great to have him in this. HFF said he won't be back. Lebda appears to be gone.

Commish, have you heard from pwnasaurus, #66 or pnep?
