Another nice three set win for De Minaur who has dropped the middle-school boy's cap for a bandanna. Alex played very well but he had a whole lot of help from an off-form Coric.

Nice tournament so far for Bublik who is demonstrating that he's got the potential to do some nice things.....how nice, I don't know. Top 20 a possibility? If he gets all the pieces fitting together at the same time, he could do some damage.

Dancevic is in Beijing qualifying as an alt. I'm guessing he's there with either Vasek or Felix but good for him to get a match in.

Probably there to scout for Davis Cup. If everyone is healthy, Canada has some interesting options now and potentially harder choices. Doesn't hurt if he can see how everyone is playing first hand.

Shapovalov loses in the SF. This is third SF in an ATP event at least (this, Rogers Cup 2017 and Miami this year), but he's never reached an ATP final.

In other news, Pospisil wins a qualifier match at Beijing. Hopefully he can make some noise and start getting that ranking up.
