Looks about right for the most part. I would swap Forsberg in there for Couturier. I'd probably swap Kapanen out as well with possibly Umberger? Smith wasn't really good here but I'm not really having an easy time of deciding who could possibly replace him.

With your own 'No Games Requirement Rule' established, how can you leave off the player in your icon? Foppa was better than a point a game player in O&B... and more deserving than a player like Jason Smith in my mind*.


* I know they are not from the same position... I'm just sayin'.

I'd replace Sharp with Knuble... based on quality games played in O&B... and remove Seidenberg who was not all that as a Flyer, maybe put in Kappy for his D-man work, albeit done before the LockOut.

Left off guys like JVR, Sharp, Bob, Pitkanen, Siedenberg, etc. because they either were wildly inconsistent &/or just weren't as nearly good as they late became when with the Flyers.

Didn't Forsberg have exactly 70 points in 70 games with us?

115 Points in 100 Games (30G/85A) in the Regular Season and 8 Points in 4 PostSeason Games (4G/4A)... IIRC that led the Team over his time on the here, even though he missed many games due to his injuries. Pretty impressive over that short sample that more than likely would have extended much longer had he been expected to be able to keep playing... both the team and Foppa wanted to extend but only if it was apparent that he would be able to play well enough to do so. He was here a very short time, but so were many others selected by us for inclusion. It is a fantasy list, please remember.

Even though he was only here for a year full time, Ville Leino should really be on this list (and on a line with Danny Briere). Swap him with Patrick Sharp and you've got yourself a nice little team there. Also the backup goalie could really be any one of Boosh, Biron, or Niity.
