This gets into the nuances of roster movement which are hard to predict, but at least superficially… why activate him today if he’s not playing today? If he’s slotting in for the first time on Saturday, why not wait till tomorrow to activate him (and his cap hit)?

Is it bad that when they teased the Special Guest during the intermission interview last game and saw it was Waddell, that I thought it would be him unveiling the Stadium Series jersey?
