Is this guy a bust or what? I get its early in the season and he plays for Florida but he's not doing much for a former 2nd overall pick. He had a decent year last year, what are his projections?

My guess is he scores 60 some-odd points this year and is a beast defensively.

Based on the rest of your post, I don't think that you actually do get that.

...What? 5 points in 9 games, not "great" but I don't see it being very alarming either. At any rate hes not a bust, when has a 1st line centre been a bust?

WHAT? He's one of the best defensive centers in the leauge. Besides that he was the only real threat offensively for team Finland in the wcoh

Barkov has arguably been Florida's most consistent and best player into the season, like you should expect since this guy never make big mistakes and pretty much plays like a robot. He hasn't been that productive yet, if he could find a new aggressive level in the offensive zone, he would easily be in the top-5 players in the league since he has all the tools out there but at the times, he just plays too humble hockey.
