he got 1 game in the KHL this year, rest has been in their version of the AHL, the VHL. He's an overager as he was passed over last year, so maybe something like Khisamutdinov but hopefully better, picked 1 spot apart. @Ceaser had him ranked 32 on his list of Russian prospects.

Gordin - 59-39-29-68 69 pims +26 (MHL- juniors)
Khisamutdinov- 51-11-12-23 24 pims +11 (MHL - juniors)
Now Khisamutdinov turned 19 5 months sooner and for him he had his break out in juniors at 19/20 (which is a red flag) though I think they just threw a dart on him hoping his 5 pts in 9 KHL games in his draft year while being a big body might turn into something. I don't know anything about Gordin yet.
