So you're saying he's putting on a clinic?

He may be the best hutter out of all our prospects.

Yeah, at the same time I would like to see Lashoff-Johansson as the top pair for Grabd Rapids.

With Berggren and Soderblom playing as top 6 forwards.

Grand Rapids could be a good team that is fun to watch this year. Injuries will happen, and I am sure we will get to see a handful of debuts in Detroit. I also think we will probably be waiving a few guys before the start of the year.
Don't sleep on Andreasson. I know his NHL potential is still in question but if he can just translate his SHL play to the AHL he'll be a fun guy to watch.
I could see them giving Johansson and Söderblom the Berggren treatment, where they spend basically all year there even if they show they deserve callups.

Berggren however should at this point spend minimal time in the AHL. I'd rather have him on the NHL team even if it's not as a full-time regular.

Is he starting to play more in Grand Rapids? Seems like for awhile he had a limited role and wasn't producing much.

He's played 15 games so far 0 goals 3 assists for 3 points. Not the kind of production we expected from him so far.
Yeah, but what's the context? Is he putting up those numbers in a top-4 role with PP time? Or is he bottom-pair just playing minimum ES minutes with checking forwards? If it's the latter, hopefully they have him working on some things with a chance for a bigger role as the season goes on.

That’s what I’m looking for.

Limited ES minutes. He's playing a 3rd pairing defensive specialist role which is ridiculous. I get playing 2nd fiddle to Edvinsson when he's in the lineup, but Johansson needs minutes.

The times I've seen GRG this season Johansson isn't playing his game. No puck rushing, no sneaking in the point to shoot from the slot, no pinching then skating around the net then making a pass from circle to circle. This is why I don't like Ben Simon.
