if we want to keep Daccord we are going to have to move CD.

For me, the problem with that is that so far D'Accord has been a fantastic AHL goalie, but not so much in the NHL.

I'm also not sure how much success we should expect going into a season with Grubauer/D'Accord as our goalie tandem.

I mean, Grubi hopefully gets it going but that's a big if after this season and then having D'Accord as the other option's not a winning formula.

Not sure where to put this, but just wanted to congratulate the Seattle fan base along with the Florida Panthers fanbase, as their shared AHL affiliate the Charlotte Checkers last night clinched the Atlantic division title.

Really hope Evans gets at least a half of a season in the AHL.

I am a firm believer that some minor league adjustment time is always good for the long-term development of prospects coming from Major Junior.

Rushing them straight into the NHL usually stunts their growth and lowers their ceiling. They are so focused on not making mistakes at this level, it removes the creativity aspect from extremely critical development years. That is hard to get back.

Yeah. Plus he is only 21 which is promising. A lot of times EU players 25+ years of age come over and do not really produce in the NHL. But with 21 year old players there is a good chance they adjust and improve.

He’s beeen playing against men in Liiga. I’m optimistic.
